Valentus Pros and Cons
Do Valentus distributors make money?
I think we could all agree that it is a big red flag when a company does not publish their Income Disclosure Statement. That is the case with Valentus.
I have looked in different sites, blogs, and forums and I could not seem to find a copy of one. Since we do not have any data showing us how much a consultant can potentially earn, we have no way to know if Valentus consultants make money or not.
I believe that there are better ways to make money online than joining MLM companies such as Valentus or Nikken.
I do not suggest trusting comments or posts from social media as proof that you can earn money in an MLM. The data never lies, so it is always good to have that information public, for the sake of those thinking of joining MLMs.
However, we could all agree that joining MLMs come with pros and cons. It is always good to get the proper training from your team leader to boost your sales. As long as you use the correct marketing strategies and have a good team supporting you, you can find success in this venture.
Valentus has its fair share of controversies and negative reviews.
In 2017, Charlotte Thomson, a prominent distributor, was warned by Trading Standards since Valentus products are not allowed to be sold and resold in the United Kingdom. Her products were eventually confiscated.
In 2019, government agency MedSafe warned customers about Valentus products. The tested products contained amphetamine-like substances that may cause several adverse reactions like agitation, increased heart rate, and high blood pressure.
In the same year, the New Zealand Customs and Department of Health issued warnings on Valentus products, since tests have proved that the products contain several illegal and prescription-only ingredients.
In this Reddit post, a user was asking about what Valentus is actually trying to sell, since they are a bodybuilder who do not believe the false claims that the company proliferates.
This Reddit user expressed concerns when a friend of theirs joined the company as a way to pay off their credit cards. It is implied in the post that the other distributors that their friend knows went into debt for selling Valentus products.
This person in Reddit expressed concern when they gave their personal information to someone who posted a job ad looking for girls to work for them. They found out that it is for Valentus, and after researching the company, they backed out. They contemplated on reporting the incident to the FBI.
Is Valentus legit?
Yes, Valentus is a legit company.
However, MLMs get a lot of negative reviews for the following reasons:
- Team leaders do not train their members properly
- Members, who do not receive proper marketing and sales training, earn very little to no money
As we frequently see on these MLMs, the members were pushed more into recruiting than selling products. Since members were not trained for that either, they are having a hard time making money.
As long as you can join the right team of people who are willing to help and support you, it is guaranteed that you can succeed in your MLM venture.
Is Valentus a Pyramid Scheme?
First of all, let's look at what a Pyramid Scheme is:
"A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products." - Wikipedia
As Valentus distributors make money both by recruiting other team members AND by selling products to customers, it is safe to say that Valentus is not a Pyramid Scheme!
How to succeed with Valentus and any other online business
MLMs tend to get bashed because majority of people who signed up for them struggle to make money from them.
This is mostly because of leaders that push their members to recruit instead of sell products, since recruiting members earns them easy commission money.
Here is the thing... You cannot force the people close to you to join your MLM since not everyone is interested in your products. You will just end up ruining your relationships with those people.
You need to reach your target market since they are the people who are willing to sustain your business with their purchases. Reaching your target market is the easiest and most guaranteed way to success.
There are two popular ways to do this:
- Set up paid adverts that target a specific audience within your niche
- Find a way to generate free organic traffic that can be turned into sales
The first option is very expensive and if you are just starting out, then I recommend you scrap that for now.
The second one is completely doable and inexpensive, in fact, you can even get the right tools and information for FREE.
In this FREE Make Money Online Course, you can learn a number of things that can help you succeed with Valentus and any other similar businesses.
