  2. Recruiting. You earn commissions from the sales of your downline.
  3. Climbing through the ranks. You get benefits and bonuses as you climb through PartyLite's ranks.

I found a video on YouTube from PartyLite's official YouTube channel that can help you understand the compensation plan better. You can watch it below.

Do PartyLite consultants make money?

I think we could all agree that it is a big red flag when a company does not publish their Income Disclosure Statement. That is the case with PartyLite.

I have looked in different sites, blogs, and forums and I could not seem to find a copy of one. I saw some people in Reddit looking for it as well.

Since we do not have any data showing us how much a distributor can potentially earn, we have no way to know if PartyLite distributors make money or not.

I believe that there are better ways to make money online than joining MLM companies such as PartyLite or Forever Living.

I do not suggest trusting comments or posts from social media as proof that you can earn money in an MLM. The data never lies, so it is always good to have that information public, for the sake of those thinking of joining MLMs. Not publishing them just makes the company look shady.

However, we could all agree that joining MLMs come with pros and cons. It is always good to get the proper training from your team leader to boost your sales. As long as you use the correct marketing strategies and have a good team supporting you, you can find success in this venture.

PartyLite reviews

PartyLite has its own share of negative reviews.

From what I found in this post in Reddit, it seems like PartyLite has been harassing this particular customer who has not even bought from them in ten years.

This person talks about wanting to buy products from PartyLite consultants with no strings attached, however, they cannot seem to find someone willing to sell to them unless they agree to host a party at their house.

Is PartyLite legit?

Yes, PartyLite is a legit company that has been in business for many years now.

However, MLMs are often regarded in a negative light for the following reasons:

  • Team leaders do not get proper training, so their members do not learn the necessary skills from them
  • Team leaders prefer recruitment over selling products, which they pass on to their members
  • Members, who do not have proper sales or marketing training, end up discouraged and shamed for their naivety

A good team is your key to success in MLMs. As long as you stay with them and get the proper guidance, it would be a fairly easy way to success.

Is PartyLite a Pyramid Scheme?

First of all, let's look at what a Pyramid Scheme is:

"A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products." Wikipedia

how-a-pyramid-scheme-works

As PartyLite consultants make money both by recruiting other team members AND by selling products to customers, it is safe to say that PartyLite is not a Pyramid Scheme!

How to succeed with PartyLite and any other online business

MLMs tend to get a bad reputation because most people who have tried them did not earn their investment back. This is not because they did not try hard, it is more like they tried their best but it just did not happen.

This is because of leaders who pushed them to recruit more than sell products. For leaders, it is so much more easy to get commissions from recruitment instead of selling products. It is almost like they do not want to work so they pass the work to their members.

Mostly, those who signed up for MLMs do not have any sales or marketing experience. This is essential as you would have to market your products properly to sell them. Marketing does not mean only selling to people you know. Not everyone you know wants your products.

There is also that concern about product prices. Families have a household budget they strictly follow. If your products fall under a higher price point compared to the ones readily available to the people you are trying to sell them to, then do not expect sales to come flocking to your door.

Another thing to note is you cannot just go into a business without planning your way through it. Like a regular business, you have to find your target market. If you want to sign up to your MLM, be sure that you actually like the products and plan to use them.

Here is the thing... You cannot force your family, friends, acquaintances, or old classmates to buy your products or join your team. That is not how it works.

You need to find a way to reach your target market. They are the people willing to buy your products and join your team.

There are two popular ways to do this:

  1. Set up paid adverts that target a specific audience within your niche
  2. Find a way to generate free organic traffic that can be turned into sales

The first option is very expensive and if you are just starting out, then I recommend you scrap that for now.

The second one is completely doable and inexpensive, in fact, you can even get the right tools and information for FREE.
